on normal days its not that chaotic, coz everything is closed so they have nothing to do except looking at the tourists so dont get offended. its very cool place to visit and this was not the main door ,it was a short entry gate for those who want to go in for their prayer or nikah ceremony, the main gae is on the opposit side where you can actually watch minar e pakistan and fort plus mosque, And if you will come on a normal day you will not be the only tourist. there was no security issue,only that area was closed for a sikh delegation due to an event. do visit liberty, alraya. army museum.

Its just slogan of Lahori people to boast about and to be proud that "Lahore is Lahore". You can elaborate it as that only Lahore is Lahore and nothing is parallel or even slightly close to this city.
In roman letters it would read as: "Lahore, Lahore aayy" you say it to people and they would recognize this phrase.
