For a five-star hotel, this level of service is really disappointing. The call wasn't answered multiple times, there was too much background noise, and the staff member taking the order seemed unsure about even the menu prices. It felt more like calling a local shop than a luxury hotel. Guests expect professionalism, prompt service, and well-trained staff from a five-star property.

As a Pakistani, indeed it's equivalent to scamming. They over charge a lot for simple stuff. That's why you've to be a local, yk which places are worth it and which aren't. Some places which are extremely cheap have the best food and sometimes even expensive ones have. And vice versa about the bad taste food as well.
So yeah, indeed these elite Mafia hotels are looting ppl that's why no one prefers wasting their money there.
What I recommend a foreigner is especially when you come to Pakistan, befriends with a local, they can guide and help you wayyyyy better and can uplift your experience to a thousand times cz they know the ups and downs in detail. Iykyk.
