Lahore Lunch

My younger sisters and mother went to visit my grandmother and uncle in Lahore, Pakistan just as the lockdowns for Coronavirus were taking hold. Their flights back have since been suspended.

Unable to be with them during these times, I asked my 12 year old sister to film scenes certain moments from my memory of our meals together. This film connects me with my family away from me while recreating a nostalgic portrait of my experience.
