Old Lahore

Early in the morning on our last day in Pakistan, we rolled up to the old city in Lahore. We were too early and so tired but Rafey worked a miracle and got us a tour of the mosque and the fort before they opened for the day. I’ve been to Badshahi before, but I finally got to learn about its history and it’s Mughal past. It was also my first visit to the fort — not that I haven’t tried before, I’ve been turned away twice in the past! It was such a good morning and I think I may still be sleep deprived two months later.
