More recently, reports suggested that a proposed settlement could divide several PC Hotels between Thatta Cement and Fauji Foundation, with PC Lahore, PC Bhurban and PC Muzaffarabad reportedly proposed for Fauji Foundation, while PC Karachi and PC Rawalpindi could go to Thatta Cement. However, Pakistan Services Limited issued an official clarification on September 7, 2026, saying it had no knowledge of any such finalized split and had not been informed by any shareholder. The company also confirmed that shareholding-related cases remain pending before the Islamabad High Court.
